Creative Ways To Utilize Home Décor
Designer’s Mark has been a source of creativity for designers and clients alike for 25 years. Designer’s Mark is unique for its innovative interior design approach to South Florida living. We have an identity that comes from living in the Palm Beaches and South Florida in general; a mix of culture, landscapes, and character. We draw influence from all of these in building our portfolio of custom design décor, art, and home décor accessories.
Exclusive Brands
For the astute reader and art book collector, we offer Assouline and Taschen: Publishers of coffee table books that cover a vast array of topics from design, lifestyle, exotic locations, art, modeling, interesting personalities, exotic cars, and even subjects that some might consider riske’ or taboo. Each Assouline and Taschen book is a perfect coffee table placement certain to initiate conversation. For 2020, Assouline published the Chanel 3-Book Slipcase. For a chic touch, add a decorative piece from Made Goods as a book weight.
John Richard makes finely crafted home décor and accent pieces. Their philosophy is that every room has a narrative, told through thoughtful design. With artisan-crafted lighting, furniture, wall décor, and accessories, John Richard offers breathtaking, globally inspired collections that are sure to add distinctive luxury to any space.
DIY Chic
Designer’s Mark sources bespoke brands throughout the U.S., Latin America, and Europe for their innovative design and craftsmanship. Our portfolio of collections inspires creative ways to utilize home décor.
From SkLO, the small Crescent vessel could be used as a pen holder. The irregular and organic shape of the expand bowl can be used for holding decorative tea lights. The SkLO hold vessel hangs on a metal hand forged hook & stand that allows it to be used as a functional vase; or to display succulents that are native to South Florida.
From Argentina, Designer’s Mark proudly offers Plata Lappas. They make fine silver and leather wrapped photo frames, table and barware, as well as home décor accessories. The natural leather wastepaper basket can also function as a magazine holder; or impossibly chic storage tote.
One genius idea is to create a Shinto-like refuge by mounting a series of small graphic or textured wall covering prints above a headboard or on an accent wall. Vahallan are the creators of unique, hand-crafted wall coverings and prints; all that are truly works of art. Furthermore, all made in the United States. The new Rainier collection is a series of neutral earth tone backgrounds, with gilded leaves that refract light and shimmer in the light.
We relish at Christopher Guy’s decorative mirrors collection. Especially the iconic CG BarCode Modular Mirror System. It is customizable. CG’s mirrors create a variety of horizontal or vertical patterns and wall formats. The possibilities are endless!
From the city of angels, Mirror Home is in-demand for their geometric and Art Deco decorative mirrors. Each MIH mirror is hand-cut, polished, gilded by hand, and made-to-order. Mirror designs are custom. With multiple options; they come mounted on metal or wood frames with a custom plated, powder-coat paint, or leaf finish.
Creative Finishing
As with all of our bespoke brands, we consider the finest detail, including hardware designs for cabinetry and lighting systems. Next, look no further than Nest Studio; makers of bespoke hardware inspired by modern industrial design and contemporary trends. The Facet collection has clean Art Deco lines and geometric shapes. Made of high quality, solid brass, and polished to a multitude flawless finishes. Furthermore, Facet hardware are fixtures. They are cabinet pulls or wardrobe knobs.
Lastly, for a tropical touch… The Glaze collection is complete with knobs and findings; offered in a sea-green teal; a perfect color accent to an orange-yellow credenza or console. Notably, the ribbing draws inspiration by Jonathan Castro’s ceramic vessels, mimicking a wheel-thrown texture; a nice counterpoint to the brass backplate.
