We also recommend installing energy efficient and stylish dimmer switches where you can adjust light to a room. Add accent lighting to dark spaces such as corners, pantry, and closets. Wall sconces also add a nice touch of ambient light to a space.
Switch to energy efficient compact fluorescent lights (CLFs) or light-emitting diode (LED) light bulbs. CLFs use at least ⅓ less energy than traditional incandescent light bulbs and last up to 15 times longer. LEDs also use ⅓ less energy and are available in cool (ideal for a workspace) or warm light (ideal for accent lighting).
