Designer’s Mark has established a reputation for our concierge-style design and consultation services. In addition to our ever-expanding portfolio of fine fabrics, home accessories, and decor we also offer some the most unique high-end modern furniture brands on the market.
Custom Living
We are highly selective in the brands and collections we carry and all must be adaptable to the needs and expectations of our clients. This includes working with brands such as Interlude Home who offer a Customer’s Own Material (COM) program. COM gives us the option to offer our client’s a variety of alternate upholstery grade fabric, sourced from other fabric houses, for one-of-a-kind, made-to-order upholstery and finishing. Buyer beware though, fabrics from other collections don’t always translate as expected onto a custom piece, as well as the original offered by the furniture manufacturer.
The same is true for Adriana Hoyos, the iconic Ecuadorian furniture brand manufactured in Quinto. Each Hoyos piece is designed and constructed to create sentimental and sensual responses, to the beauty of life. Inspired by the coastal living of the Esmeraldas province of Ecuador, is the Coco Collection. It includes square-framed lounge chairs made of hand-carved wood and appointed with luxurious cushioning; seating suitable to our unique South Florida lifestyle. For 2019, Hoyos introduced the Galapagos Collection, inspired by the fauna, flora, and organic shapes found in the archipelago off Ecuador’s Pacific coast.
Modern Furniture, Modern Luxury
We also offer collections that appeal to fans and collectors of modern luxury from classic to minimalist. Holly Hunt Studio (HHS) furniture pursues minimalist elegance; clean lines and geometric shapes that blend eclecticism and style with custom-fabricated frames and luxe upholstery. Each HHS design draws inspiration from ancient and modern art; in beautiful neutral and natural tone palettes. An example? The HHS Delta Lounge Chair. Its innovative metal fabrication and cantilever design creates the illusion of seating suspended in space; a future-past modernist piece.
Noir
Established in 2004, Los Angeles based Noir is well known for its designs. It’s created by co-owner and lead designer Greg Baehler. The Noir collection of dressers, sideboards, and consoles includes the Nemesis Console; made of fine Indonesian teak and with a slate gray stone top. It’s geometric shape and lines invoke timeless modernist style.
Sunpan Furniture
Next, Sunpan makes well-made furnishings that are on-trend. It’s an in-demand brand within the hospitality and restaurant segments. Sunpan offers a custom relationship management system (CRM) for clients and designers. The Contract Viable collection are interchangeable custom pieces for residential and commercial applications. We love the best-selling Abigail Sofa constructed of a contemporary frame and available in the Sunpan polo club kohl gray or dove cream upholstery. Sunpan high-end fabrics are moisture repellent, stain resistant, and easy to clean making the Abigail the perfect piece for a busy home, hotel lounge, or lobby.
The Sunpan seating category includes the Adelaide for dining and bar. Part of the 5West Collection, the Adelaide features a narrow cut-out at the seatback and sleek, sloping armrests. It is available in a variety of Sunpan colors including timeless teal, calico cream, alisa dark gray, and the warm autumn orange.
Bungalow 5
The iconic Bungalow 5 is famous for its hand-wrapped grass-cloth furniture coverings. Featured in Architectural Digest and Designer’s Spotlight (May 28, 2020); Bungalow 5 are regarded for their modern interpretation of classic luxury. For their exquisite furniture, where every detail is considered, they remain a benchmark brand for architects, designers, and clients alike.
Minotti
Modern luxury Italian brand Minotti is famous for re-evaluating and expanding the boundaries of modern living. The Indoor / Outdoor program connects indoor and outdoor living spaces; a concept that has become an aesthetic movement on both coasts. Indoor / Outdoor is based on a fluid, informal, yet beautiful connection between space and object.
Rene Cazares Furniture
Last, based in Los Angeles is Rene Cazares. RC explores the globe sourcing unique materials and textiles into his designs. The Cazares Inspire program is fully customizable in nine simple steps from frame to finishing. The Inspire collection is available as sofa, sectional, and lounge seating with matching ottomans.
Stylish and Sustainable
Designer’s Mark offers a variety of green and sustainable custom modern furniture brands. As the sustainability segment has grown, Ireland’s CFC Interiors is at the forefront, creating unique hand-made pieces from reclaimed douglas fir and oak woods, torn down homes, and broken fences. Their impressive collections include beautifully constructed classic sleigh or modern platform bed frames to suit different tastes.
